| Meet the amazing Pandapotamus! Half Hippo, half Panda, with a sprinkling of Piggy and Cow. This Bulldog mix is an absolute love bug! She was given more time than others at the High Kill shelter because everyone there loved her so. LOVES and is submissive to all humans. Total chill dog around the house.
Not a chewer, not a barker, takes treats gently.
This 3 year old smushy-faced lowrider would be content to calmly hang out and sleep at (on) your feet in the house all day. She only needs one exercise outing a day. She's been leash and "collar" trained, and is a very quick learner. We house trained her in one day! Good off leash too, she will stick by your side.
GREAT in the car. In fact, she loves cars so much she has been known to happily jump into any open car saying 'I'm ready. Let's go!'
And this doll is a SHOWSTOPPER. Her markings are beautiful, garnering 'ooohs' and 'ahhhhs' wherever she goes. She bonds VERY quickly and just loves to be near you, but doesn't have separation anxiety. Everyone who meets her melts. This stunning pudgette is a little shy at first, but once she knows you are a safe she will throw herself on her back for belly rubs. At around 60lbs, she truly thinks she is a lap dog. Having come from nothing to finally being loved she can get possessive over certain things with other dogs. However she takes correction very well (she really hates to displease her people and will flop on her back as if to say 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Here's my irresistible belly for you to rub.')
She does great with our off-leash walking group with every size dog, She is in training for greeting dogs nicely and is doing very well.
She would do great with a family that has had experience with the breed and understands the importance of follow through and being a strong leader, or the only dog apple of your eye. Keeping up with her training will eep her the awesome dog she is. (Okay, we'll admit: we have to restrain ourselves from obsessively kissing her adorable face.)
Not sure about cats, but we always lean toward the safe side.
Bottom line, if you are looking for an awesome companion Panda is your girl! Seriously, what's not to love!!?
