K-9 PALS' Special Funds, Programs, Donor Options, and Planned Giving Opportunities

Whether your donation is large or small, you will be making a difference in the lives of our rescue and shelter dogs. They are counting on you.

K-9 PALS is a California non profit tax-exempt corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.

K-9 PALS Tax ID number is 01-0595647.

For our commmunity of homeless dogs, K-9 PALS relies on the generosity of the public. Donations literally make the difference between neglect and nurturing, hurt and healing, loneliness and a loving home. All donations go directly towards caring for and finding homes for the dogs.

Your tax-deductible gift to K-9 PALS is so important to the needs of these dogs. Here are some ways your donation to K-9 PALS will be spent:

Medical care – surgeries, x-rays, blood panels, diagnostic tests, ultrasound tests, all kinds of veterinary care treatments, medications, and special diets.

Training – training programs for dogs adopted from shelters and rescues and dogs still in the county shelters waiting for their forever homes.

Daily Care - Daily needs, including food for our dogs who we have rescued and dogs in shelters, training treats, blankets, beds, toys, food supplements, medical equipment, which provide quality of daily life until forever homes are found for them.

You may make a donation to any of the following funds or make an unrestricted donation.

General Fund used for everything for daily care and needs for the dogs and helps protect our heavily used Medical Fund.

Medical Fund for surgeries of all kinds, life saving procedures, medications, diagnostics, medical equipment and supplies.

"Peaches" Fund for needs of senior dogs.

The Kyle Pickford Memorial Fund established in honor and memory of Kyle Pickford, multiple time adopter of K-9 PALS dogs and long time donor of K-9 PALS.

The Enid Thurston Memorial Fund established in honor and memory of Enid Thurston, long time donor, adopter, and supporter of K-9 PALS.

Nigel Fund for behavior training for dogs in shelters and with rescue groups who are in need of training while they are waiting for their permanent homes.

Sanctuary Dog Fund for our seniors and other dogs with serious chronic or terminal conditions, to help us provide them so that they can live out their remaining lives, not in a shelter, but with a loving family in a K-9 PALS forever foster home.
