Marco arrived at the shelter as a puppy, was one of three black puppies. The other two were adopted quickly and he remained, growing up in a shelter, as bad thing to happen to a puppy. He was helped by volunteers who took him to K-9 PALS training classes and field trips to give him a chance to know what it would be like to live in the outside world.
